Ward Split

All the little ones in our nursery.
The Bishopric and President Cox with his counselors.

Bishop Parker and his counselors Bro. Madsen and Bro. Isom and the ward clerk, Bro. Taylor

On Sunday the 26th we had our 900-member ward divided. It was both exciting and sad. Exciting because we can actually meet more people because having a large ward makes it harder to meet everyone. Sad because most of the people we're good friends with are in the other ward. In this ward there were two nurseries. John and I were the nursery leaders for the older group. We enjoyed teaching these little kids. Its so incredible how attached you and your kids can get to each other. Some of the kids ended up being in the Williston 1st ward. John got called to be the ward clerk in the Williston 2nd ward. After they set apart the bishopric and the ward clerk, the Williston 1st ward's bishop's wife put together a lunch for the new bishoprics for both wards. I took some pictures. This is a big calling for John; especially now since he's in tax season.

I bet that was a lot of fun serving together in the nursery. Russ and I just got called as CTR 4 teachers and are excited to work together. Congrats to John on his new calling as ward clerk!
