February DIY Crafts

Making bean bags for the nursery class.

The Pouch Says: "The Holy Ghost will guide me, And  help me Choose The Right. He will always stand beside me, And warm me with his light."

The Superhero suckers for Daniel' class.

The Valentine Cards for my nursery class.

One of the things I like to do to spend my time wisely is to go onto Pinterest and find things that will keep me busy, especially in this town where there's not much to do.

John and I used to be the nursery leaders in our ward. We had the older group of kids in our nursery. For one of my classes that was about the Holy Ghost, I found this idea on sugardoodle that you make little heated bean bags. I loved the idea so much that I spent that whole Saturday sewing the little bean bags together. Because we had a large nursery, I had to make like 15. I used some of my wheat from food storage to fill the bags up. The kids loved the bean bags.

For Valentines day at Daniel's school, I made some superhero-suckers. The kids loved them.

For my nursery class, I found these little Book of Mormon character cards. They were really cute and perfect for my little kids at church. I enjoyed doing these little projects for my kids. These little projects keep me busy so I don't go crazy :).
