Remember how I said that I would do projects with my kids more often? This is one of those times.
Today Michele presented her little immigrant doll. Her name is Josephine. She came from Denmark in to the USA in the late 1800's. I spent a whole day making her dress. I enjoyed it because it made me feel like I was making a dress for the actual Josephine. I enjoy helping my kids with the school projects they bring home.

I am amazed at the way you can sew these beautiful doll clothes. You would have been a great pioneer as they had to make their own clothes. I always have to have a pattern and then it doesn't look that good when I get through. You are a special mom, your kids are so blessed to have you.
