Family Home Evening Activities

Last night we had family home evening and for the activities, the kids and I made some Banana Bread and some Halloween Decorations. From now on, I decided to do more crafty stuff and cooking stuff with the kids. I think this is a good thing the kids will remember when they are grown up. They can tell their kids what we used to do for fun. We don't need to have money to do this, we just look for stuff we already have @ home. Like Recycling your glass jars from spaghetti sauce and pickles and Be Creative. You know what they say, "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle"

Banana Bread
It looks delicious right?

Jar Jack-o-Lantern

For This Project, we used: Spaghetti Sauce and Pickle Jars and glued orange pieces of tissue paper on with Mod Podge. (We Put Christmas Lights inside to make it look nice)

You could sell these on ebay! What a great idea. The banana bread looks delicious. What a great cook and homemaker you are becoming. I love your comments of not needing money to have great memories with your family. You are such a good example.
