Easter 2012

The Easter bunny put some eggs too high in the trees. :\

This morning the kids went outside and saw that the Easter Bunny left some eggs hidden in the backyard. The news said we were supposed to get some snow today. Luckily, the weather stayed nice and the kids went on an Easter egg hunt. They were very excited and collected a lot of eggs. After they collected eggs, we did some egg-coloring. We had so much fun! They enjoyed their day. The sad part is that John Sr. is at work and he couldn't spend this time with us. The kids made an egg for him. It's nice to spend Saturday doing the Easter Bunny hunt and egg-coloring so we can focus tomorrow on what the meaning of Easter is. Easter is about remembering the Savior, Jesus Christ, and the sacrifice that he made for us. We remember that Jesus is the son of God and our redeemer.
