Halloween 2011

How we decorated our door at the church.
This is my hubby pepper.

This is a little girl in our ward who is in Daniel's Kindergarten class.

Daniel and his candy.

This year is our first year celebrating Halloween out of Utah. The weather was great. It was a little chilly but not too bad. Here in Williston, people are very generous in what they give out for Halloween. We went to a neighborhood by the Williston State College. Believe it or not, they were handing out pops, string cheese, packages of hot cocoa. I've never seen so many kids trick-or-treating in one spot. Everybody was driving up to this area because they'd heard it was a good place to get stuff from. David was hilarious. Every time he knocked the door and the person came, he would jump up and holler, "Trick-or-treat!" And other doors he would yell out,"Yoohoo!." On the Saturday before Halloween, we had a church Halloween party. There was a cornbread and chili cook-off. Everybody picked a classroom in the church and decorated their door so kids could trick-or-treat door-to-door inside the church. There was some games in the primary room and a haunted house prepared by the young women. John and I decided to dress up as salt and pepper. That was the most creative way and the cheapest. :) John Jr. made his own costume this year. He was a gift box that had a tag that said: "TO: Women, FROM: Above ^" Michele just dressed up as a purple diva. David was a firefighter. Daniel was a Motocross Racer. We enjoyed our Halloween in Williston. Enjoy our pictures..
